An ammonia meter is an instrument that measures the concentration of ammonium ions in water. It is used to monitor the ammonia nitrogen content of domestic or industrial water plants. The instrument uses an electrochemical sensor to measure the ammonium ion in liquids and gases. It can perform automatic temperature and pH compensation and is designed to meet high-precision standards. It is also suitable for measuring ammonium ions and pH simultaneously in aqueous solutions.

Our selection includes portable ammonia detectors and fixed NH3 gas detectors for hazardous areas, along with multi-gas and single-gas monitoring equipment that can be connected to PLC, DCS and other control systems. We also offer ATEX-certified products for use in potentially explosive environments.

Sampling Gas Samples: The Importance of Gas Sample Pumps

Using a highly specific ISE (ion selective electrode) sensor, this ammonium meter can detect and differentiate free ammonia NH3 and ammonium ions NH4+ in the sample. It is easy to use and comes FACTORY-CALIBRATED – just turn it on and go. This meter is commonly used for monitoring poultry, pig, swine, cattle and fish farms, animal welfare shelters, landfills and waste management applications. It can also be used in hospitals, warehouses and chemical plants. It is also useful for OH&S verification. This meter is easy to install in any Aquaprobe: simply unscrew the blanking plug, apply some silicon grease (grease provided) and screw in the sensor.
